Privacy, and why there is no bank sync
EachPayday collects nothing. There is no account, no sign-up, no analytics inside the app, and no connection to your bank. Your budget lives on your device and backs up to a file you control. Because we never receive your data, we cannot lose it, leak it, or sell it.
The marketing site (eachpayday.com.au) does use privacy-respecting, cookieless analytics and an email signup form, and its privacy policy covers that. The app itself is separate and gathers nothing.
Is no bank sync really a good thing?
For a lot of people, yes. Bank-connected apps need access to your transaction history through a third party, which is exactly the access many people are uncomfortable giving. EachPayday works the opposite way: you tell it your income and bills once, it does the maths, and your financial life never leaves your hands. The trade-off is that you enter your figures yourself and move money yourself, which is also what keeps the method deliberate rather than automatic.
